In May of 1948, Israel was declared a State and 2018 marked the 70th anniversary. As another celebration nears, known in Israel as Yom Ha’atzmaut, we take a moment to reflect on where Israel is today; its present strengths and weaknesses, and what opportunities and threats it faces in the future.
