Creativity: Learning through Experience XXXI

As the Cleveland Composers Guild continues its 2022-2023 season “Celebrating the Year of the VOICE!” and building on three decades of success stories, this year’s annual junior concert focuses on new art songs composed by members of the Cleveland Composers Guild. These songs will be performed by talented young singers recruited from schools, ensembles, and private studios in northeast Ohio. This year approximately half of the concert will be vocal while the other half will see premieres of works for piano, violin, viola, cello, and flute. A brand new composition by a gifted student composer will also be performed by professional musicians.

We are grateful to The Music Settlement and the Junior Fortnightly Musical Clubs of Cleveland assist in bringing this event to fruition each season, and especially to Cuyahoga Arts and Culture and the Bascom Little Fund for their crucial support.
