Contemplative Paper Virtual Workshop

This meditative, and non-traditional, contemporary papermaking technique offers many possibilities for creating collage and sculpture. You will learn how to transform flax roving into beautiful textured paper with inclusions such as thread, cellulose based fiber, photos, or handmade paper. This paper can also be cast over a mould to create fiber sculpture. Students will have a finished collage or 3D form at the end of the workshop. A material list will be provided.
