Carols for Quire XI: Mary’s Song

Quire performs three sixteenth-century settings of the Magnificat, alongside traditional carols of the season.

“My soul magnifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God, my Savior!” This opening exclamation of Mary’s Song, the Magnificat, expresses more than just her willingness to be the vessel of the Messiah. In Quire Cleveland’s opening program of its 14th season, it is a call to awaken our collective souls and spirits to bask in renewed life through the sounds of the human voice!

Admission is free. Seating is open, and no tickets or reservations are required. A freewill offering will be taken (suggested donation $25 per person).
