Blek le Rat & TAKI 183 in Cleveland!

Be part of history in the making! Graffiti HeArt, a Cleveland-based nonprofit, is proud to announce one of the most historical events in the history of street art! Legendary world renowned “Father of Stencil Graffiti”, Blek le Rat and TAKI 183, the New York City graffiti writer legend, will be together in person and collaborating for the very first time in history! These two legends made their start in graffiti in the 1960’s, shaping the graffiti culture globally, and have never met on another, although both have high admiration of one another from across the Atlantic.

This historical event will begin with a VIP Event the evening of August 12th for major SPONSORS followed by an afternoon Youth Stencil Art Workshop with local Stencil Artist R!ch Cihlar on August 13th, and the Blek-TAKI LIVE Main Event the evening of August 13th, all taking place at the Graffiti HeArt Gallery 4829 Superior Avenue, Cleveland.

This historical project will also include 4 Blek le Rat murals installed around Cleveland, Ohio! Locations to be announced in the near future!
