Artist Talk: Ethan Samaha

Lateral perspective’ explores perception and perspective using wall based neon designs. The works question what’s in-front, behind, top, and bottom. Changing the viewer’s perspective as they traverse the space. Exploring the relations of color and form, these designs will range from monochrome to saturated, and will display subtle color shifts.

Ethan Samaha is a visual artist working within light and space. Utilizing neon and sculpture to get an understanding of time, space, and perceptions in installations. He received a BFA in Sculpture and Dimensional Studies with minors in Performance Design & Technology and Dance from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University in 2021.
