Join us as we celebrate and unveil the garden/fresh food-themed mural, created by Food Strong’s School Garden students of Artemus Ward Elementary School.
Through CAC funding, Food Strong is guiding the creation of fresh-food murals with students of its School Garden program who attend Artemus Ward Elementary School. On this day, we will be holding a brief unveiling ceremony with light refreshments to celebrate the mural, guided by local artist Carson Bassett, which will be placed on the front wall of Food Strong’s community partner, the West Park Family YMCA. There will be a free family swim for attendees starting at 5pm, so bring your suits!
