Sol LeWitt: Relinquishing Control by Following Direction
LeWitt was known for his large-scale line drawings of geometric systems and for making instructions for others to create these drawings. Even though directions are available, each artist may still interpret the directions differently. Using directions, we will attempt to create simple geometric drawings. We will examine how it feels to give up creative control and follow directions.
