Altars in the Mexican tradition of the Day of the Dead

One of the focal points of the Day of the Dead is the altar. This display is full of meanings that represent many layers. Learn those meanings and how to set up your own altar in a respectful manner.

The current commemoration of the Day of the Dead is the result of the syncretism between the Mesoamerican Cosmogonic views and Spanish Catholicism. If you want to learn its meaning or if you want to set up an altar in a respectful manner please attend this conversation. Also, we will be discussing the difference between a personal/family altar, an artistic altar, a public altar, and a touristic event.
