All About the Arts

The Board, staff and residents of Front Steps Housing and Services cordially invite you to our Annual Art Show – All About the Arts.

The show displays the remarkable works of art by participants in our Art Therapy Program. These brilliant visual pieces celebrate their journey out of homelessness and give voice to the feelings and emotions associated with the trauma of this experience. With generous funding from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture and the ADAMHS Board of Cuyahoga County, licensed art therapists provide weekly art therapy sessions that include residents of Front Steps and other referring behavioral health organizations.

The Art Show demonstrates how art empowers positive decision making, fosters self-awareness, strengthens coping skills, as well as explores emotional expression and use of art and the creative process as a source of personal growth and transformation. While at the show you will also have the opportunity to visit our new facility – St. Joseph’s Commons. There will be a short program and appetizers and refreshments will be served. This event is free to the public and parking is available in the lot across from the facility.
