The African Dance and Drum workshop is part of the 10th Annual African Dance & Drum Festival. The workshop takes place over two days and is led by guest teaching artists from Senegal, Mali, Ghana, Guinea, Cuba and the United States.

A community-wide African Dance & Drum Conference will be held on June 8 and June 9 at the Gund Dance Studio in the IDEA Centerfeatures. Guest Teaching Artists from Senegal, Mali, Ghana, Guinea, Cuba and the United States will lead the workshop classes.
