Active Voice

Art collection develop through a sequence of purposeful actions: artists create, galleries represent, curators select. Donors demonstrate their appreciation for the mission of the Art Program with contributions that enhance the reach and diversity of the Cleveland Clinic collection. Together, each of these efforts work to deliberately shape the visitor experience. Now at over 6,500 works, the collection began as a series of donations from grateful patients, their families, staff an physicians – all committed to enhancing the healing environment of the hospital. Active Voice brings these narratives to the fore, in an exhibition of works that were recently gifted to  the Cleveland Clinic and acquisitions supported by generous donations.
