A Virtual Healing Arts Workshop - Painting the Light

The Healing Arts Workshops are led by a Board-certified art therapist and provide grieving people with a creative outlet for their grief. No art experience is necessary.

We have darker, shorter days at this time of year, but we look forward to the increase in light day by day. How would you imagine that light? And how would you paint it?

We use Microsoft Teams for the virtual workshop sessions, which is similar to Zoom. When you register, you are sent an email inviation with a link to join the workshop. New supplies for the art assignment are shipped to you, and they will be yours to keep.

Each workshop consists of two sessions, a week apart. In the first session, a theme or topic is introduced and we have a small group discussion. You are given instructions on the art assignment for the week. We get back together in the second session to share and talk about the art, memories and feelings.
