A Virtual Healing Arts Workshop - LGBTQ Art Therapy Event: Home Is Where the Heart Is

The Healing Arts Workshops are led by a Board-certified art therapist and provide grieving people with a creative outlet for their grief.  No art experience is necessary.

The death of a partner, spouse or other family member or friend may begin another reimagining of home and family.  What will home look like?  What will family look like?

This event is for members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer Community who have experienced the death of a loved one.

We use Microsoft Teams for the virtual workshop sessions, which is similar to Zoom.  When you register, you are sent an email invitation with a link to join the workshop.  New supplies for the art assignment are shipped to you, and they will be yours to keep.

Each workshop consists of two sessions, a week apart.  In the first session, a theme or topic is introduced and we have a small group discussion.  You are given instructions on the art assignment for the week.  We get back together in the second session to share and talk about the art, memories and feelings.
