A Tale of Winter

A young woman on holiday falls in love with a cook and returns home bearing his child. But an incorrect address causes her to lose touch with him, so she raises the tyke alone. She is wooed by others, but can’t help thinking about her true love.

A Tale of Winter, a Cinematheque streaming exclusive, can be viewed online from 4/2 thru 5/27 via the link below. Doing so supports the Cinematheque. Screening fee is $12 and you have 72 hours to watch it. The other three films in the cycle—A Tale of Springtime (1990), A Tale of Summer (1996), and A Tale of Autumn (1998)—will also be available to stream from 4/2 thru 5/27. A pass to watch all four restorations during that time period costs only $40.
