A Celebration of Music & Art from Cleveland's Golden Age!

Honoring Our Past Masters: The Golden Age of Cleveland Art, 1900-1945, The most ambitious showing of Cleveland masterworks in nearly thirty years; opening reception and concert with Cleveland Orchestra members and friends.

Cleveland History Center | Western Reserve Historical Society in partnership with the Department of Art History and Art, College of Arts and Sciences, CWRU, and Cleveland Arts Prize present: Honoring Our Past Masters: The Golden Age of Cleveland Art, 1900-1945.

ADMISSION INFO

Tickets are required for the concert only, $50 online or at the door.

The exhibition is free and open to the public for the opening reception. Afterwards, entrance to the exhibition will require the entrance fee to Cleveland History Center.

Curator and art historian Henry Adams will headline the concert with a special introduction to the Exhibition and the Hay-McKinney Mansion ~ decorated for the holidays ~ will be open for self guided tours throughout the afternoon.

The Exhibition runs from December 4 – April 4, 2022 and is open to the public. Tickets are required for the concert only. Light refreshments will be served.

Cleveland Arts Prize Past Masters Project is supported in part by the residents of Cuyahoga County through a public grant from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture.

PARKING INFO

  • Parking is available in the museum’s adjacent parking lot located off Magnolia Drive.
  • Parking fees may be paid “in lane” upon exit using a credit card.
  • WRHS Members receive discounted flat rate parking at $5 per vehicle.  Members can pay inside, near the exit, before leaving.
