44TH CLEVELAND INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL - Canceled

The 44th Cleveland International Film Festival will take place March 25 – April 5, 2020. It will kick-off with an Opening Night Film and Reception on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at the KeyBank State Theatre in Playhouse Square. Following Opening Night, over 600 screenings will be exhibited in ten theaters at our Tower City Cinemas hub from 9 AM to 12 Midnight (and even later on weekends) for the next 11 days. Screenings will also take place in the Gordon Square Arts District on the west side (first weekend) and the Cedar Lee Arts District on the east side (second weekend).

This much-anticipated cultural experience will showcase 200+ feature films and 200+ short films. It will host over 400 guest filmmakers from throughout the country and around the world, representing about 70 countries. The Festival will conclude on April 5, 2020 with our Closing Night Ceremony on the Skylight Concourse of Tower City Center. The CIFF will present approximately 30 awards and over $125,000 in cash prizes to CIFF44 filmmakers. Our anticipated attendance should once again top 100,000.

CIFF44 program details will be available at clevelandfilm.org on Friday, February 28, with Program Guides hitting the streets the week of March 2. Tickets will go on sale to CIFF Members on Friday, March 6th and to the general public on Friday, March 13.
