The Cleveland Museum of Art seeks a Member Program Coordinator to help implement events and activities that will engage members of our Friends Groups to become actively affiliated with the museum. This individual will report to the Director of Membership and work in our Philanthropy department.

Responsibilities include:

Working with the Director of Membership to manage logistics of the museum’s friends groups, and develop a program in close partnership with the museum's curatorial staff, as well as other museum staff and volunteers.
Keeping track of day-to-day planning and execution of friends groups activities
Managing logistics for programs and activities, including planning, scheduling, attending, troubleshooting, managing program budgets, and analyzing programs for effectiveness.
Maintaining all friends groups’ rosters and processes friends groups’ membership dues payments.
Staying current on issues related to the Cleveland Museum of Art collections and education programs as well as engagement programming in other museums.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required, preferred in Art History or related field and three to five years of relevant museum and/or experience in developing and implementing patron programs is required. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently are also required. Flexible work schedule is a must, some evenings and weekends are required.
