Playhouse Square is looking for a highly self-motivated individual with strong organizational skills and attention to detail to join our Development team and serve as the lead staff person for all database processes and tools in coordination with the Assistant Director of Development.  Responsibilities include:

Understand and be able to execute all functions of the main database including gift entry, donor ticketing, email, reporting, and any other supplementary tools.Provide a regular database audit to ensure the integrity of development data.
Provide recommendations for streamlining development system processes, including ongoing support and training to ensure proper protocol and procedures.
Facilitate and generate ongoing analytical reports to capture donor trends utilizing giving, membership, ticketing and relationship management data in order to drive future decisions and increased donor loyalty.
Research and recommend additional resources and tools to assist in daily processes or specialized campaigns.
Collaborate and liaise with ticketing systems and operations, and IT departments and the external database support team.
Assist with data pulls and list generating for department initiatives such as direct mail campaigns.
Assist with donor research and determine appropriate ways to capture, report, and utilize information such as wealth screening data in order to support increased and new gifts.
Provide gift entry back-up as needed.
Assist with renewal and acknowledgement mailings as required.
Assist department hosting events and programs and fill in or assist concierge staff as needed during evening and weekend performances.

QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will be experienced (minimum three years) in non-profit development and have a background or experience in database management and analysis. A bachelor's degree is preferred. Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are a must along with proven communication skills, both written and verbal, a keen understanding of workflows and processes, and the ability to analyze data and provide recommendations or solutions. Occasional evening/weekend availability required.
