The INTER|URBAN launched in 2016 with the creation of 18 murals and public art exhibitions between the airport and downtown along Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority’s Red Line.

The INTER|URBAN connects a broad, public audience to Anisfield-Wolf Book Award-winning literature that confronts race, racism, and cultural differences. It is an ongoing collaboration between the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA), LAND studio (LAND), the Anisfield-Wolf Book Awards, and the Cleveland Foundation.
