AUDITION CALL: Seeking experienced professional & college dancers - Paid company positions with The Movement Project

The Movement Project is seeking professional and college dancers for their upcoming season. To be considered, dancers must attend our annual free company audition held December 15, 2018 at Playhouse Square.

*Note: TMP's company audition is held on day 2 of our Winter Workshop. For those interested in a company position, we highly recommend attending at least one day of the workshop, as this is a great way for us to see you in multiple dance forms prior to the audition. AUDITION DETAILS

Date: December 15th, 2018

Times: 1:00 pm (Check-in) 1:15 - 2:30 pm (Audition)

Audition will consist of modern dance technique, improvisation and TMP repertory.

Price: Free

What to bring to the audition: Bring resume, bio and headshot.

Available Positions

TMP Company Position: The Movement Project is seeking well-rounded dancers with a wide-range of skill sets, including a strong background in modern/contemporary, ballet, composition and pedagogy. TMP company members responsibilities include (but are not limited to) rehearsals, technique classes, performances, composition, teaching, outreach engagements and weekly administrative duties/roles.

• TMP Company Contract: 10 - month contract (1-year agreement) with hourly wage, performance stipend, outreach stipend, and company class. The Movement Project rehearses Mondays & Wednesdays 9:30 - 3:00pm and Fridays 9:30 - 11:00am. Additional outreach opportunities, arts events and performances scheduled throughout the season.

TMP Seasonal Intern Position: The Movement Project is well-rounded dancers with a wide-range of skill sets, including a strong background in modern/contemporary, ballet, composition and pedagogy. TMP seasonal intern responsibilities include (but are not limited to) rehearsals, technique classes, performances, composition, teaching, outreach engagements, summer intensive RA and weekly administrative duties/roles.

• TMP Seasonal Intern Contract: Seasonal (Summer, Spring, etc..) contracted stipend based on length of position and experience.
