Virginia Ackley

Originally from Texas, I have really found a home here in Cleveland where my father grew up!

I am a Celtic Folk artist playing the autoharp and penny whistle and sing.  My music style involves story telling and  my original music really reflects that.  I like to play outside the box, too, in genres like the blues and jazz – even some rock!

I’ve developed a couple of alter egos over the past few years.  Posie the Flower Pixie comes out to play for kids of all ages.  Tabitha McPherson usually peeks out around Halloween – for good reason!

I currently have five CDs out and one book for children.  There are at least two more albums and a new children’s book in process.

I currently host an acoustic jam session at Hatfield’s Goode Grub on Lorain Ave. every first Wednesday.
