Cleveland Winds with Cincinnati Wind Band in Maltz PAC Silver Hall Series

The Cleveland Winds and their guest ensemble, The Cincinnati Wind  Band (CWB) and their director, Jim Daughters. The Cleveland Winds will perform Ira Hearshen\\\’s Fantasia on Aura Lee, Peter Meechan\\\’s Perpetua, and Katahj Copley\\\’s groundbreaking new composition, DOPE!. The Cincinnati Wind Band will perform Ron Nelson’s Lauds, John Williams’ Viktor’s Tale with clarinet soloist Nicholas Schlie, Samuel Barber’s Commando March, the world premiere of Nicole Piunno’s The Spirit is Willing, and close with Michael Daugherty’s The Adventures of Jesse Owen.
