Music Journalism Intensive Summer Camp

At this camp, aspiring music journalists in grades 9-12 will go through an accelerated, rigorous process from concept to finished piece of music journalism. The sessions will place a strong emphasis on developing critical thinking and original writing from the ground up: understanding what makes a good story, developing tools to find and build stories, sharpening and practicing interview skills, and getting experience with deadline writing and editing to create a finished piece of music journalism. Youth will interact with guest writers and musicians.
