Come to Zygote’s two-day workshop to explore the history of etching and ignite your creativity with designing, etching, and printing!
Come to Zygote’s two-day workshop (Saturday, Sept. 25 11-4pm and Sunday, Oct. 3rd 11-4pm) to create your own copper plates! Michael Whitehead, your instructor, will be demonstrating a green alternative to line etching with hard ground, a technique with a long history. With using this alternative, students will be able to find innovative ways to surface their prints in the second session.
