An exhibition of art work created in various media – clay, acrylics, watercolor, pastels, and jewelry-making by art therapy clients, representing their interpretations of the value of “home” and what it means to them.
This art exhibit represents the outcome of a year-long study of individual participants’ perceptions of the value of “home”, from the perspective of art, architecture, habitats, design, emotion and home environment. Art therapy clients participated in field trips to local cultural institutions to explore the various expressions of “home” in art, music, photography, gardening, cinema and sculpture.
